8oz/200g Barkat Flour Mix
pinch of salt
5/6 tablespoons water
6oz/175g chopped beefsteak
1 onion (chopped)
2 potatoes (chopped)
1 small swede (chopped)
salt + pepper
Rub fat into flour until mix resembles fine breadcrumbs.
Mix in egg.
Bind pastry together with the water.
On a lightly floured broad knead pastry until it feels soft and pliable.
Roll out pastry to about 5mm/1/4in thickness.
Mix meat, potatoes, onions, and swede together.
Put mix into pastry.
Fold over pastry and crimp together.
Brush with egg.
Bake for 40mins at gas mark 5, 180c or 350f.
